Video frames become editable paths
AnimeCurve starts with a short MP4 and traces frames into vector color regions. It preserves a sequence of motion rather than producing a single still SVG. The paths can be edited, but the conversion does not automatically name body parts or recover a rig.
Which videos work best?
Simple logo motion, stylized mascots and flat motion graphics are useful starting points. AI-generated video is suitable when it has a clear silhouette and consistent colors. Live-action particles, fine texture and complex backgrounds remain experimental.
If you have another video format, prepare an MP4 before importing. This workflow does not promise direct support for every video codec or container.
Inspect the source and result
Use the homepage conversion examples to compare original MP4 clips with browser-rendered animated SVG. The examples show four different motion types, not a guarantee that your clip will reach the same quality.
Inspect edges and colors at several frames, then make a small recolor or visibility edit. Check both motion and exported size before choosing vector output.
Choose the output for your use case
Use animated SVG for editable vector motion and SVGZ when your hosting supports gzip headers. Detailed footage may remain better suited to video. Lottie JSON is an experimental compatibility export; scene features and player support determine the result.
Read the export guide before embedding an asset.
